Urge Surf doesn't collect, transmit, or have access to any of your information. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third party involved. Everything you do in the app — your outlasted count, your favorites, your journal entries — stays stored locally on your own device.
None. Urge Surf has no server, no account system, and no way to send information anywhere. We — the developer — never see any data from your use of this app, because none is ever transmitted to us or to anyone else.
To make the app useful across sessions, a small amount of information is saved locally, using your device's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults on iOS; localStorage in the web version). This includes:
All of this lives only on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or made visible to us or anyone else. Deleting the app (or clearing site data, for the web version) permanently deletes it.
Urge Surf contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters, no ad networks, and no tracking of any kind.
The app itself calls no third-party services. The web version loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which is standard for any website using web fonts and involves no account or tracking data specific to you beyond what any font request over the internet inherently carries (your device requesting a file). No other third-party service is used anywhere in Urge Surf.
Urge Surf is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — consistent with everything above, since it doesn't collect information from anyone at all.
